I got a name for you....

One day one of my assistants decided he needed a title. He had just been elected treasurer of something or another and decided to elaborate his name on the office whiteboard with the addition of “The Treasurer.” I asked him if he liked having a title on the whiteboard and he agreed that he did. The next day I altered his title….and the day after……and the day after. Every day from that point on he had a new title on the whiteboard when he came into work. Most of them have something to do with money. Many of them display a certain penchant for alliteration.

His term as treasurer recently expired so his titles have come to a cease. I thought I’d take the time to post the complete list of his titles as concocted by me.

Those are marks of personal victories. At first my subject was less than appreciative of my efforts….but eventually he broke down and started to think of names himself. I let him contribute two then shut him off… I told him it wasn’t any fun it he got at choose his own titles. So first I got him to accept the game…then I refused to let him play.
